God's Amazing Plan
1. For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles, speak.
2. You have surely heard about the dispensation of God's grace that was given to me for you.
3. God revealed the secret to me, as I have already briefly written.
4. When you read it, you will see that I have discovered the mystery of Christ.
5. This mystery was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, but has now been revealed to the apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit.
6. The mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel .
7. I became a servant according to the gift of God's grace given to me through the working of God's power.
8. To me, who am less than the least of all saints, this grace was given, that I should preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9. To reveal to all people the secret plan of God, who created all things, which has been hidden from eternity.
10. This is to make known through the church the infinite wisdom of God to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
11. This was according to God's eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
12. In Christ Jesus we can boldly move forward with confidence through faith in Christ.
13. Therefore, I urge you not to lose heart because of the troubles I suffered for you, for they are your glory.
Prayer for the Saints
14. Therefore I kneel before the Father,
15. From whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.
16. That God would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
17. May Christ dwell in your hearts through faith , so that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18. May you be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth of the love of Christ.
19. I pray that you may know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge and be filled with all the fullness of God.
20. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.
21. To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
QT: The Mystery and Inner Man of Christ
📖 Ephesians 3:6 QT Sharing
"And this mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel ."
In this passage, Paul
revealsa “secret” that God had kept hidden.
This secret is that not only Jews but also Gentiles have become joint heirs of the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ .
In the Old Testament, God's covenant was considered to be given to the people of Israel. However, through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, all nations and peoples were invited into the promise of salvation .
This is an enormous grace that allows all people living on earth in the modern era to become equal members of God's family .
♥ Let’s take a moment to meditate on the words.
1. We are heirs of God.
We must remember that
our right to receive God's gift of salvation is not through our works, but through our faith in Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we must not be anxious, but live boldly as children of God.
2. You must love without discrimination.
God does not love only certain people. We too must have an attitude of loving everyone without prejudice .
Even within the church community, we must serve while remembering that everyone is an equal child of God.
3. Let us become participants in God’s promise.
The grace of the gospel is not something that I can enjoy alone. I must also share it with those who do not yet know the gospel .
God wants us to be conduits for sharing the blessings of the gospel.
📖 Ephesians 3:16-17 QT Sharing
"I pray that God
may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power through his Spirit
inyour
inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith."
Paul prays mightily for the Ephesians. He asks God to strengthen our “inner self” through the Holy Spirit. “Inner self” here means our inner self, our spiritual being.
We also pray that Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith. This does not mean simply knowing Jesus intellectually, but that our lives and personalities must be completely attached to Jesus.
♥ Let’s take a moment to meditate on the words.
1. We must strengthen our inner self, not our outer self.
Paul prays that our inner being will be strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit. We often focus on physical health and worldly success, but what is truly important is spiritual strength. When our faith is weak, we must remember that the Holy Spirit is working in us to make our faith stronger.
2. I must place Jesus at the center of my life through faith.
Faith is not just a feeling, but a constant reliance on Jesus in life. Jesus must be at the center of my thoughts, feelings, and decisions, and it is important to live according to His words.
3. We must live a life that is transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
When the Holy Spirit strengthens us, we can have unwavering faith in any situation. We must live not by our own ability, but by the riches of God's glory.
