Salvation by faith

Ephesians 2 QT
(Text and illustrations by Geonjubu, Image source: Canva)
1. You too were dead in your trespasses and sins.
2. At one time you lived in trespasses and sins, following the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience.
3. We also all once were among them, carrying out the desires of the flesh and the mind, living in the lusts of our flesh. We were by nature children of wrath, just as they were.
4. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
5. Even when we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ. (For it is by grace you have been saved.)
6. And raised us up with him, and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
7. This was to show the infinite riches of God's grace in Christ Jesus to all the generations to come.
8. For by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
9. Not by works, so that no one can boast.
10. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. God wants us to live and do good works.
Be reconciled in Christ

Ephesians 2 QT

11. Therefore, remember that you were Gentiles in regard to the flesh, and are called uncircumcised by those who are called Circumcision in regard to the flesh.
12. At that time you were without Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
13. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far from God have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
14. For Christ himself is our peace, who has made the two one by his flesh, having broken down the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.
15. He abolished the law of commandments contained in ordinances , so that in Him He might create one new man out of the two, thus making peace.
16. That he might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross, thus putting to death the hostility between them .
17. Christ came and preached peace to you who were far away and also to those who were near.
18. So that through Christ we all have access in one Spirit to the Father.
19. So then, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household.
20. Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.
21. In Christ the whole building is joined together and grows together into a holy temple in the Lord.
22. In him you too are being built up together to become a dwelling place for God in his Spirit.
QT: Jesus of Salvation and Peace by Grace

Ephesians 2 QT
(Text and illustrations by Geonjubu, Image source: Canva)
" For by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) "
" For bygrace
you have been saved through faith .And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast."
This passage
clearly emphasizes that the basisfor our salvation
is not our works but God's grace .Salvation is received through faith alone,
not by human effort or good deeds, but as a gift of God. This
isto glorify God, not ourselves .
Let us take a moment to meditate on the words.
✔ Have I not tried to be recognized by God through my actions?
✔ Do I fully trust in God’s grace, or do I rely on my own efforts?
✔ How can I share the joy of salvation I have received with others?
Even in our lives of faith, there are times when we want to be recognized by God through our actions . However, God saved us not because of what we did, but through our faith in Christ. Remembering this, we must live humbly and thank God today.
"For Christ himself is our peace, who has made the two one by his own flesh, having destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing
the law of commandments contained in ordinances , so as to create in himself one new humanity from the two, thus making peace, and reconciling the two to God in one body through the cross, having put to death the hostility in himself . (Ephesians 2:14-16)"
This means that Jesus broke down the barriers between Jews and Gentiles and created a community of one body . In the Old Testament, the law played a role in dividing Jews and Gentiles , but Jesus broke down all these barriers and achieved peace through the sacrifice of the cross.
That is, Jesus is the center of reconciliation and unity, and makes all people one with God. The relationship that was cut off from God due to human sin was also restored through the cross of Jesus .
Let us take a moment to meditate on the words.
✔ What are the “blockages” in my life?
✔ Am I living according to the peace that Jesus brought?
✔ Is there anyone I need to reconcile with and forgive first?
We often live our lives building walls between ourselves and others because of hatred, prejudice, comparison, and differences.
But Jesus broke down all the conflict and hostility within us and made us one in God.
Today, I remember that Jesus is my peace
, and I pledge to live a life that practices reconciliation and forgivenessrather than creating conflict and division .
In my relationship with God, I will hold on to the grace of Jesus so that I will not be turned away by my sins and weaknesses.

"Father God, full of love and grace, thank you for establishing me as a good instrument of God and guiding me to carry out the mission of the Lord .

and give you the wisdom to livea life that practices the love of Jesus .
Lord, there may be times when we feel discouraged and want to give up while doing good deeds.

us persevereby holding on to the promise
.
Please break down all the walls in and around the heart of the pastor ,
